Scheduled Home Watch
Peachy provides visit-blocks which are used to schedule routine site visits. A routine site visit generally will last 45-60 minutes. We recommend at least two visits per month during un-occupancy … or you may decide to utilize one of these blocks to follow behind your most recent visits to allow us to put the home back into Home Watch Mode. We will remind you of an upcoming site visit (in the event there is something specific you want us to attend to) and you will receive a Peachy Watch Report post-visit. Of course, if we discover anything of pressing concern during the visit we will reach out at that time.
Scheduled = Timely Discovery
Homeowners insurance is vital for protecting your property and belongings against potential damage and loss. However, insurers are selective, especially for properties exposed to unique risks such as harsh weather conditions, long periods of vacancy, or signs of neglect. Review your policy carefully, especially sections addressing unoccupied or vacant homes. Insurance companies are increasingly recognizing the value of Home Watch services in reducing risks for unoccupied properties.
Checklist = Repeatable Process
Peachy utilizes a checklist approach to conducting our Home Watch checks. Use of a repeatable process ensures consistency and accountability in our Home Watch process and for the care of your second home. This systematic approach ensures every critical point is always checked, minimizing the risk of costly failures like undetected leaks, storm damage, pest damage, vandalism, etc. This process provides peace of mind, protecting your property’s value, and ensuring compliance with your insurance policy requirements while you are away.
Documentation
A standard Peachy site visit report provides photo documentation along with a short report to provide homeowner peace of mind and a snapshot and update on the overall status of your home, Detailed reports provided by Certified Home Watch Reporters™ serve as valuable evidence for insurance claims, demonstrating that the property has been watched over.
